Our philosophy starts with the simple belief that kids are capable of incredible things. Our job is to nurture that ability; our goal is to support kids' healthy development. Play is how kids learn--here, it is in both a STEM-rich environment and inviting outdoor experience.

I've been a full-time fundraiser for more than 20 years at all kinds of organizations, and at the Discovery Museum I've found my home. It's a privilege to be working on behalf of the kids and families of our region, and at an organization that stands up for science and the natural potential of all children. My husband and I are parents to two boys, a future train conductor and automotive engineer, who test the durability of all museum exhibits and occasionally appear in my PowerPoint presentations.
