Our philosophy starts with the simple belief that kids are capable of incredible things. Our job is to nurture that ability; our goal is to support kids' healthy development. Play is how kids learn--here, it is in both a STEM-rich environment and inviting outdoor experience.

Your NEW museum is ready! Join us during this special free evening especially for families with members on the autism spectrum. In our new, accessible, and ADA-compliant building you can play, explore, and learn with new and reimagined exhibits. Dinner, including a gluten free option, will be provided courtesy of Not Your Average Joe’s.
Pre-registration required, as space is limited.
Please Note: Our new, unified museum building will be open this evening; the Children’s Discovery Museum is now permanently closed to visitors. Discovery Woods closes at dusk. We will be creating a new Museum Story Guide to help introduce visitors to the new museum, but until it is ready we are happy to answer any questions about our new facility by phone.
You may want to prepare for your visit by downloading the Story Guide to Discovery Woods and by visiting the Exhibits section of our website.
