Dr. Michael Yogman is a leading Boston-area pediatrician, Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and is the editor of several books and author of numerous articles and chapters on the father-infant relationship, infant diet and sleep, and parent-infant play. He serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Boston Children’s Museum and Chair of the Massachusetts Child Mental Health Task Force. Dr. Yogman co-authored the AAP Clinical Report, “The Power of Play: A Pediatric Role in Enhancing Development in Young Children,” which recommends a prescription for play to help children buffer toxic stress, build parental relationships, and improve executive functioning.
