Join us for an exciting new program for kids and their caregiver to explore simple mechanical concepts and create cardboard automata—a moving sculpture!
In this 90-minute session we’ll investigate levers, cams, linkages, and other mechanisms to make and decorate automata you can take home. Experiment with ways to engineer and decorate a toy that moves up and down, spins around, and more!
This program is recommended for children ages 7 and up with an accompanying adult. Due to the nature of the materials we’ll be using, we cannot accommodate children under 5 to be present.
