Our philosophy starts with the simple belief that kids are capable of incredible things. Our job is to nurture that ability; our goal is to support kids' healthy development. Play is how kids learn--here, it is in both a STEM-rich environment and inviting outdoor experience.

Join us as we honor Black History Month and National Engineers week and learn about black men and women who have made important contributions to the field of engineering. Lewis Howard Latimer (born in Chelsea, MA) was an American inventor and electrical engineer, who played an integral role in patenting the first carbon filaments for incandescent lightbulbs and the telephone. Discover more of Latimer’s work and inventions as you experiment with some simple circuitry, and explore conductive and non-conductive materials.
National Engineers Week is sponsored by Raytheon.
