Our philosophy starts with the simple belief that kids are capable of incredible things. Our job is to nurture that ability; our goal is to support kids' healthy development. Play is how kids learn--here, it is in both a STEM-rich environment and inviting outdoor experience.
Each month, we are fortunate to have Kimberlee and her Therapy dog, Abby, visit us here at the museum. Today, we ask: do dogs play with toys just like us? We will learn what some of Abby’s favorite toys are, and in what ways dog’s toys look similar or different from the things we like to play with.
Abby is a certified Therapy Dog from the Pets and People Foundation, which means she’s happy to meet both enthusiastic dog-lovers and anyone who’s curious but might be shy.
