Come explore your new Discovery Museum building and Discovery Woods! Join us during this special free evening especially for families with Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or KODA children. In our new, ADA-compliant building you can play, explore, and learn with new and renovated exhibits. ASL Interpreters will be available. Dinner, including a gluten free option, will be provided courtesy of Not Your Average Joe’s.

Please Note: Our new, unified museum building will be open this evening; the Children’s

Discovery Museum is now permanently closed to visitors. Discovery Woods closes at dusk. We will be creating a new Museum Story Guide to help introduce visitors to the new museum, but until it is ready, you may want to prepare for your visit by downloading the Story Guide to Discovery Woods at and by visiting the Exhibits section of our website. We are also happy to answer any questions about our new facility by phone.
