David A. Sinclair, Ph.D. is best known for his work on understanding why we age and how to slow its effects. He is a tenured Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School, co-Director of the Paul F. Glenn Laboratories for the Biological Mechanisms of Aging at Harvard Medical School, a Professor at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, and an Honorary Professor at the University of Sydney. He has co-founded ten biotechnology companies in the areas of aging, vaccines, diabetes/cancer, biodefense, forensics and bioinformatics. Dr. Sinclair was named as one of the Top 100 Australian Innovators, and included in Time magazine’s list of the “100 most influential people in the world.”
