Cost: Free with admission

Join us for an exciting program series that honors the contributions of Black women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. In this program, we will host a virtual meet and greet with Dr. Tiffany Williams and learn more about her work as a pediatric dentist. At 12:30pm, hear from Tiffany as shares her personal journey as a young Black woman in STEM, and ask her questions about why she finds dentistry cool and exciting. Then, try some hands-on activities inspired by Dr. William’s work. Tiffany Williams, DDS, MSD, FACD, is in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. Dr. Williams will be joining us virtually for the speaking portion of this program.

This program series was created in combination with Ellice Patterson, Biologist and Founder/Artistic and Executive Director of Abilities Dance Boston, and a Discovery Museum Science & Engineering Communication Fellow.

Black Women in Science is sponsored in part by the Sudbury Foundation.
